Fax server is a virtual fax service that allows you to receive and send faxes through Internet.

Faxes are received as attachments to an e-mail and are sent through a web application.

How to apply for the service

To request activation of the service, the telephone service spokesperson for the structure will have to send an application by online form setting out in the annotation field the type of activation:

• receipt only: a physical fax is sent
• both receipt and transmission: service entirely managed by web application without needing a physical fax.

Depending on whether or not the telephone extension dedicated to the fax exists, the contact person will have to use one of these application forms:

• the Telephone extension activation form if the fax envisages a new telephone extension to activate
• the Other interventions form if the telephone extension for the fax is already in operation.
